The global averaged ocean surface temperature shows increasing trend. However, the increase in the ocean temperatures were relatively less compared to the land air temperatures. In 2021, the Global Ocean temperature was about 0.88°C above the pre- industrial period which is substantially less than global land surface temperature (1.59°C).
